AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is hopeful the Rossoneri have turned a corner in their season after an impressive victory over Napoli on Sunday.

Jeremy Menez and Giacomo Bonaventura scored for the Rossoneri in a 2-0 win over Napoli with Galliani as ever present at the San Siro stadium.

“In the last three games we only managed the one goal against Genoa, we hope to have turned a corner,” Galliani told Rai Sport.

“We have 27 players in our squad and without European football that is enough, we need to sell first before making purchases.”

Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi was under some degree of pressure having won just five games prior to this match against Napoli.

“Inzaghi insisted on the team showing the determination they had showed against Genoa,” the club’s vice-president continued.

“Even those who were on the bench showed great desire, I was pleased to see this and in particular how Bonaventura played.

“Bonaventura reminds me of Carlo Ancelotti when he was a player here,” Galliani concluded in his interview.
