Roma coach Rudi Garcia stated that he had faith that his side will defeat Inter on Sunday night.

The Giallorossi defeated Roberto Mancini’s men 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico, and the Frenchman has said that he wasn’t worried at all, and had faith in his side.

“I wasn’t worried,” he told Sky. “I know my players, and tonight they showed their mettle.

“The team were tactically astute.”

“We had a terrific game, however, we can still improve.”

Garcia then went on to praise Radja Nainggolan, who was signed in January 2014, as well as saying that he isn’t focusing on their decisive UEFA Champions League tie with Manchester City yet.

“I know Radja from my days at Lille,” he said. “It was a great buy, and we’ve improved since he’s come in.

“Luckily, [Kevin] Strootman is also back and I have everyone at my disposal.

“The most important game of the season will be next Saturday against Sassuolo, we know that Manchester City are a great team, but it’s not the time to discuss the game.”

Roma’s upcoming game on Saturday against Sassuolo will be at 18:00 CET at the Stadio Olimpico.
