Roma boss Rudi Garcia has spoken out about his club’s place in the standings and, their biggest rival to the Scudetto, Juventus.

The former french football coach of the year has currently led his team to second place, only one point behind Juve, in the domestic flight and a Europa league berth after being knocked out of Champions League in group play.

Speaking with France Football Garcia said: “We strongly believe, [granted] we have a point less, that we should be ahead because we lost 3-2 in Turin that had three irregular goals.

“Last year we stumbled across a stratospheric Juve, who beat every record, there’s nothing negative to say about the prior Juve [team]”

“In Turin, the referee had everything wrong there. I only point out that even the best referees, and Rocchi is part of this category, can lose their personality in a stadium like that.”

“What Does Juve have ? Experience and maturity. Roma is still under construction, but we can do it. Juve is very strong, but I have confidence in my players and the dynamics of the club.”
