Centre forward Mauro Icardi is extremely frustrated with new Inter coach Roberto Mancini over his lack of playing time during Inter’s 4-2 away loss to Roma last weekend.

The Argentinian international was brought on as a substitute in the 82’ minute, and is irritated that he did not have more playing time in such a marquee matchup after being an integral part of Inter’s attack over the last season and a half.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Icardi was frustrated that he was called on to help so late in the match, making his frustrations clearly known on the touchline and by leaving the pitch immediately after the final whistle, not acknowledging Roma’s players.

Inter have recently attempted to sign Icardi to a new contract, which will expire in 2018, to ward off potential transfer moves from high end Premier League clubs and Atletico Madrid.
