Inter are considering signing current Liverpool forward and former Nerazzurri youth star Mario Balotelli on loan for the second half of the 2014-15 season.

Balotelli joined Liverpool at the beginning of the 2014-15 season but has had a difficult time adjusting at the Merseyside club.

He has only scored two goals, none in 10 Premier League matches, has been suspended for posting racially insensitive material on Instagram, and has been benched by manager Brendan Rodgers.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, reactions are mixed to the return of the controversial striker with many supporters believing that he is unmanageable and that he should not be forgiven for negative actions he has made in the past towards Inter, while others believe that Mancini can turn him into a world class player.

Many supporters have not forgiven Balotelli for an incident in the 2009-10 Champions League semi-final where after being substituted against Barcelona, he threw the Nerazzurri shirt on the ground.

Balotelli has already played under Mancini for two and a half seasons at English Premier League side Manchester City.
