Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio believes the team is showing signs of improvement under the tutelage of coach Roberto Mancini.

The 26-year-old sustained an injury back in October forcing him to miss up to six weeks on the sidelines and has revealed he is glad to be back.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, D’Ambrosio expressed his delight about returning from injury as well as the impact Roberto Mancini has had on the team.

“I have been out for two months through injury. So it was important to start well and put minutes in the legs,” D’Ambrosio said.

“Mancini’s coaching career speaks for itself. We are improving because of him [Mancini] and our goal is to try and put into practice what the coach asks.”

The former Torino fullback has accumulated six appearances in this season’s Serie A, recording one assist in the process.
