Inter boss Roberto Mancini has straightforwardly inquired the possibility of signing Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon in the January transfer window.

The 50-year-old, who returned to Inter for a second spell, following the departure of Walter Mazzarri, has identified a list of potential signings to turn around the fortunes of the Nerazzurri.

According to the Sunday People, one of the names in the list includes Spurs player Lennon, who is yet to make an impact under new boss Mauricio Pochettino this season, after making just nine appearances in the Premier League.

Moreover, many other newspapers report that the England International has personally signed off on the deal and is waiting for the club to accept the proposal from Inter.

It is also believed that the Nerazzurri are willing to offer midfielder Fredy Guarin to the London side, as a part of the Lennon deal.

The Italian club are currently in 11th in the Serie A table on 20 points and have endured a pretty tough start to their campaign.
