Inter are weighing up a potential move for Liverpool defender Glen Johnson in the upcoming transfer window.

The 30-year-old English international looks set to leave the club when his current contract expires at the end of the season, and has been linked with a move to the Serie A.

Sport Italia report that Inter director Piero Ausilio was in the stands at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening to monitor Johnson’s performance against Leicester City.

Ausilio is currently on a scouting trip around Europe, and was also sent to watch fellow Liverpool players Lucas Leiva and Fabio Borini, with the latter being left on the bench for the full ninety minutes.

Johnson has also been linked with a move to Roma in the past few weeks.
