Inter are reportedly preparing an offer for Tottenham Hotspur forward Roberto Soldado during the January transfer window.

Spurs are actively seeking a January buyer for the disappointing forward, who has only scored seven goals in 38 Premier League matches since joining the North London side, after he was bought for €33 million during the 2013 summer transfer window.

According to the English based newspaper the Express, Tottenham are hoping to sell the 29-year-old for €14 million in order to fund a January transfer attempt for Porto forward Jackson Martinez, with new Inter boss Roberto Mancini keen to bring the Spaniard to the San Siro.

Even though they lead the chase, Inter will have to beat out Atletico Madrid for Soldado’s signature, who are also said to be monitoring the situation.
