Juventus are reportedly searching for a possible replacement for Sebastian Giovinco in the case that the forward decides to leave the Turin giants in January.

The 27-year-old, whose current contract with the Bianconeri is set to expire in June 2015, could be on the verge of making an early exit from the Old Lady this winter with several clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool looking to secure his services, which has led the reigning Serie A champions to begin a hunt for someone to fill his shoes.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are apparently looking to sign either Sassuolo striker Simone Zaza or Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri during the January transfer window and may explore both options in the coming weeks.

Zaza, who was originally co-owned by Juve until the Neroverdi bought him outright for €7.5 million in June, has scored five goals in his 11 Serie A appearances this season thus far.

Shaqiri has scored one goal and provided two assists in his nine Bundesliga appearances this term.
