After the recent announcement that Barcelona defender Martin Montoya is available for transfer in January, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has reportedly travelled to Spain to discuss terms with the 23 year old’s agent.

Montoya’s agent Juan Dios Carrasco confirmed that the Spanish defender is unhappy at the lack of playing time he has received at the club and now wants to leave the club.

This consequently has triggered a large amount of interest from all over Europe, and according to Sky Sport Italia, Paratici is keen to close a deal as soon as possible and has already travelled to Spain to discuss terms with Carrasco.

However, if the Bianconeri are to complete the signing of Montoya, then they will need to act quickly, as other sides such as Arsenal and Liverpool are also keen on the player.
