Lazio have reportedly targeted AZ Alkmaar central defender Jeffrey Gouweleeuw as a potential signing during the winter transfer window.
The Biancocelesti, who are looking to strengthen their backline in January, hope to exploit the relationship they have with Stefan De Vrij, who has the same agent as Gouweleeuw.
According to the Corriere della Sera, Lazio see the 23-year-old as an attainable target who can add depth and options to their central defence, with the 23-year-old reportedly valued at €3 million by his club.
The addition of Gouweleeuw would make him the third Dutch central defender to Lazio during the 2014-15 season after De Vrij and Edson Braafheid.
