Chilean side Colo Colo are reportedly tracking Lazio defender Diego Novaretti ahead of the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a possible move to a number of clubs at the start of 2015 including Mexican teams Atlas and Cruz Azul, though it seems the former Toluca man may now have a chance to showcase his talent in Chile’s top tier with El Cacique as well.
According to AS, Colo Colo are willing to take a shot at signing the Argentine but could fall short of Lazio’s demands for the defender due to their lack of finances at this time, with the player thought to be valued at around €1 million.
Novaretti, whose current contract with the Biancocelesti is set to expire in June 2017, joined the Aquilotti ahead of the 2012-13 campaign and has made a total of just 13 Serie A appearances since his arrival including his two league appearances this season thus far.
