Lichtsteiner - JuventusJuventus and Stephan Lichtsteiner have come to an agreement to extend the Swiss defender’s contract for a further two years.

Lichtsteiner’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the current season, but the new terms should see him remain at the Juventus Arena until 2017.

Sky Sport Italia reveal that the two parties have come to an agreement that will see the former Lazio man’s contract renewed for another two seasons after which there will be an option to extend it for a third year.

Lichtsteiner has recently attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United but in signing a deal that will take him up until he is 33-years-old, should end speculation linking him with a move away from Turin.

Since joining the Bianconeri in 2011, Lichtsteiner has become a mainstay in the Juventus side, making more than 100 Serie A appearances for the club and winning three Scudetti in the process.
