Both Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are looking to Italy to strengthen their respective squads. Both clubs have been linked with the Palermo strike Paolo Dybala is proving to be hot property this season.

The 21-year-old Argentine has enjoyed a fine first half of the season in Serie A with 7 goals so far and that has drawn admiring glances from many clubs around Europe.

According to Sportmediaset, Palermo owner Maurizio Zamparini will reject Dortmund’s initial offer as the Bundesliga side look for a replacement for the misfiring Adrian Ramos.

Liverpool also want the former Instituto De Cordoba man but reports suggest the Merseysiders will wait until June, when Dybala could replace former AC Milan man Mario Balotelli, who has been disappointing since his summer move.

The Premier League side are also interested in another Argentine, Sergio Romero, and according to the players agent Mino Raiola a deal could be done with Sampdoria once the transfer window re-opens.

Misfiring adrian ramos? Everytime he goes in (which is usually 20 minutes before the match ends) he looks like a threat moving like a real number 9, awaiting for a center or a pass from behind and fighting each ball. Unlike the poor immobile who rather moves to the sides to look for a ball and ends up loosing them since he doesn’t have the physicality of German players, and neither does the young Argentinian player in this poorly written article.
