Palermo striker Paulo Dybala has been linked with a summer move to English Premier League giants Liverpool.

The Argentine player dubbed the ‘new Sergio Aguero’ has attracted a host of Europe’s top clubs following a string of brilliant performances for the Rosanero and could cost suitors in the region €35 million.

According to Sportmediaset, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is ready to reject an offer for the 21-year-old from Borussia Dortmund and favours a deal with Liverpool in June. The five time European Cup winners are said to be looking for alternatives to summer transfer flop Mario Balotelli.

Liverpool have also been linked with Sampdoria goalkeeper Sergio Romero, the former Monaco loanee starred at the 2014 FIFA World Cup for Argentina in Brazil and could be the answer to The Red’s goalkeeping problems.

Meanwhile, Napoli coach Rafa Benitez could be set for a return to the Merseyside club in the summer with pressure mounting on current boss Brendan Rodgers.
