Liverpool are the latest Premier League team to be linked with a move for Palermo’s 21-year-old forward Paulo Dybala.

Arsenal are also thought to be interested in the Argentine and after club president Maurizio Zamparini recently claimed that the Sicilian side value the player at €50 million.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Liverpool are tracking the forward with the current Italian strike duo of Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini ready to be moved on from Anfield.

The player has recently changed his agent but a January move is thought to be unlikely as the Rosanero wish to hang onto him for the entirety of the 2014-15 Serie A season before possibly discussing a transfer in the summer.

The Reds are also monitoring Dybala’s contract as his current deal expires in the summer 0f 2016, although Zamparini has previously announced that there is the offer of a new contract on the table.

Liverpool reportedly passed on the chance to sign an 18-year-old Dybala from Instituto de Cordoba before he moved to Sicily.

Dybala has scored six goals from 13 appearances during the 2014-15 Serie A season.
