Adem Ljajic believes Roma’s forward line need to take more responsibility after their 0-0 draw with AC Milan on Saturday evening.

The Giallorossi failed to score for the second consecutive game at home, despite the Rossoneri playing with ten-men following Pablo Armero’s 70th minute sending off.

“When [the attack] does not unlock [the defense] in the first half the game becomes much more difficult because the opponents are defending well,” he told Sportmediset after the match.

“We lost two points [and are] behind Juventus, but the championship is long. In attack [we] lacked a bit of creativity, we forwards must take more responsibility.”

Ljajic has 12 goals in 49 matches for the Giallorossi since joining from Fiorentina in 2013.
