Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini underlined that his side must return to winning ways soon after they were beaten at home 3-1 by Sampdoria on Monday night.
The Gialloblu were left with a mountain to climb after Rafael Marquez saw red with only 25 minutes played, but gave a good account of themselves once down to ten men.
“We need to get ourselves out of this situation, now is the time for everyone to show the best of themselves,” he told Sportmediaset.
“We managed to stay in the match despite being a man down, but during a spell like this things don’t go the right way.
“We are missing a victory, getting three points again would be a cure-all for us.”
“I have spoken with the club. We have a project, now we must start to dictate matches.
“This is the saddest moment of my management here but at the same time this situation is stimulating.”
