Marseille striker opens door to Inter move

Andre-Pierre Gignac has admitted his he thinks Inter are an institution, praising head coach Roberto Mancini and also it would be a nice prospect to play for the Nerazzurri.

The 29-year-old French international is out of contract in the summer at L’OM and  has recently turned down a new deal with the club throwing his future at the club beyond the summer in doubt with Inter now seemingly at the top of his list of suitors.

“Inter is an institution, [Roberto] Mancini is great, it would be a nice prospect,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I live for football, I watch all the big leagues and also the Turkish and Russian leagues. I admire the tactical culture of Italy.

“And then I played at Marassi in a friendly against Sampdoria in 2013, I even scored and the fans were brilliant.

“I will evaluate every proposal with the attention transmitted to me by [Marcelo] Bielsa.”
