Melania Gabbiadini: Napoli move important for Manolo

Melania Gabbiadini talked about the importance of moving to Napoli for brother Manolo.

The elder of the Gabbiadini siblings, Melania is a veteran Italian international and regularly lines up for AGSM Verona. She was awarded the best female player on the 2014 edition of the Gran Gala del Calcio AIC was held on Monday night.

Talking to Rai Sport on the sidelines of the Gala, she commented on the possible transfer of brother Manolo from Sampdoria to Napoli, “For his career it could be important to go to Naples, but I will root for any team that features Manolo.”

Manolo, the younger of the Gabbiadinis has been in great form since the start of the season scoring eight goals in 13 appearances and laying out 2 assists.

The 23-year-old netted a goal on Sunday afternoon to break Juventus’ 25 match winning streak at home. Gabbiadini is expected to join Napoli during the winter transfer window as a replacement for the injured Lorenzo Insigne
