Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is expecting a difficult test when taking on Turkish outfit Trabzonspor in the Europa League round of 32.
The first leg takes place on February 19 at the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium in Trabzon, before the Partenopei welcome them to Naples a week later for the deciding tie.
“Against Trabzonspor we have the opportunity to express our quality and show that we want to make inroads into the Europa League,” said Benitez in reaction to today’s draw.
“Trabzonspor is a tough, internationally renowned team, but at this stage of the Europa League there are only teams on a level footing.
“In Turkey there is a lot of passion and it will be a challenge for us in a white-hot atmosphere.”
Trabzonspor reside in eighth position in the Super Lig, while Napoli are currently seventh in Serie A.
