Lazio coach Stefano Pioli has said he is pleased with his side’s efforts so far this season following the 2-2 draw with Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday night.
The Biancocelesti took a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Felipe Anderson, but the Nerazzurri battled back to claim a point and end the match with the score being 2-2; however, Pioli has said that his side are playing well.
“I’m disappointed because we conceded two goals, in spite of Inter not creating many chances,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “However, we are working well, and we go home with a positive result.”
Lazio now climb to third position in the table and will remain there until the early weeks of 2015 when Serie A resumes on January 5.
