QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt made it known that he would like to return to playing in Serie A.

The Moroccan joined AC Milan on loan in the January signing window this year but returned to Queens Park Rangers this summer. Taarabt scored four goals in 14 appearances for Milan during his stint in Italy.

Taarabt gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia recently where he discussed his future prospects. Since returning to QPR, the midfielder has spoken to manager Harry Redknapp about his future with the club.

“I spoke to the manager immediately after returning from Milan about returning to Italy and he became angry and turned against me,” reminisced Taarabt.

According to Taarabt, Milan’s coaching switch this season affected his prospects of returning, “Seedorf wanted me at Milan, but then Inzaghi came and he opted for other players.

“I would even give up money to go back to Milan.”

Even the possibility of joining Inter was discussed in his interview, “Inter? It would be a bit strange since I was a fan of AC Milan before moving there. Of course, I’m a professional and must evaluate what is best for my career.

“I want to go back to Italy, English football is more beautiful and upscale but I prefer Italy.”

Taarabt has played 24 minutes in two appearances for Queens Park Rangers since the beginning of the season.
