The Court of Sporting Appeals has suspended Roma coach Rudi Garcia’s two-match ban pending further investigation.

The 50-year-old was handed the ban after allegedly spitting at a steward following Roma’s 1-0 victory at Genoa last Sunday.

Sky Sport Italia reports that the court has now suspended the ban and forwarded the case onto federal prosecutors for further investigation.

Garcia was set to miss Roma’s game with AC Milan on Saturday and the match at Udinese after the winter break on January 6, but will now be able to take his place in the dugout at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend.
