Empoli coach Maurizio Sarri lamented his sides failure to turn their domination over Torino into three valuable points, claiming that in each of their last three fixtures they had deserved more than they got.

However, the 55-year-old did praise his players attitude for trying to find a winner right until the final whistle before suggesting that despite recent performances Fiorentina would not be concerned with their visit to Florence on Sunday.

“In the last three games we deserved a better result,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.

“Even today we have dominated the match from start to finish without getting the three points.

“We are satisfied with the performance because the level is good and because the boys never gave up.

“They always tried to win and that’s the right attitude. We are disappointed by the result, because despite the many scoring opportunities we could not bring home three points.

“Often these games end badly, however the team was very good because it has played a team like Torino who were physical and experienced.

“Fiorentina are a very strong team with a coach who is emerging very well. They will not be very concerned to face us.
