Udinese boss Andrea Stramaccioni wants his team to remain positive in their away clash with Sampdoria on Sunday and admits that Antonio Di Natale can be a big help in the club’s mission to earn a victory.

The Zebrette are coming off of an inconsistent string of results as they prepare to head to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and the tactician understands that the Blucerchiati are a very strong team to deal with, but he’s hoping that his squad can stay focused as they look to end 2014 on a high note.

Stramaccioni spoke during his pre-match press conference on Saturday about the impressive Sampdoria side that Udinese will be going up against and commented on what the visitors will need to do in order to secure a result.

“Sampdoria have a great organisation, they have important weapons and are a very strong team,” said the 38-year-old.

“The overall attitude of the team will be essential for us. We have some absences but I’m sure that whoever goes out onto the field will be at the highest level.

“Di Natale? He has shown that he can be very important for us away from home, from the first minute all the way until the end.”
