Glik – Torino

Torino captain Kamil Glik hopes that Sunday’s win against Genoa will kickstart the Granata’s season.

The Polish international’s brace helped Giampiero Ventura’s men come back from behind to beat the Grifone, and the defender is hoping that the win will help boost the team’s morale.

“We are aiming for more than just avoiding relegation,” he told Mediaset. “We threw away many points, and I hope this win will help kickstart our season.

“We knew that the game will be tough, Genoa are a really strong opponent, but today we deserved the victory.”

Torino are set to face Chievo away from home in their upcoming game on January 6.
