A Serie D coach decided to try and stop play by kicking a ball on to the pitch.
Jesina were hosting Amiternina in the Girone F section of the fourth level of the Italian football league system and, with the score tied at 1-1 in injury time, Jesina were calling for a foul that was not given which allowed play to carry on, with the away side looking likely to score.
A video, published on gazzetta.it, shows how coach Daniele Amaolo portrayed his anger towards this decision by the referee by kicking a football on to the field so that the referee would have to stop play, due to only one ball being allowed on the field of play at any time.
Amiternina are currently the leaders of Girone F in Serie D, while Jesina lie in 10th.
