Coach Zdenek Zeman is set to lose his job after Cagliari lost 3-1 at home to Juventus on Thursday.
Cagliari have spent the last few day evaluating their options and have finally decided that it is time to part ways with the 67-year old coach.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zeman has already been sacked by Cagliari and with an official statement from the club just a formality.
However, the Czech still led Cagliari’s training session on Monday morning, though a list of possible replacements has been drafted with Walter Zenga at the top, alongside Isolani legend Gianfranco Zola.
Zeman leaves Cagliari in the Serie A relegation zone after collecting just two wins all this season.
