AC Milan and Genoa have opened negotiations to discuss the exchange of Pablo Armero and Luca Antonelli.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi and Rossoneri vice president Adriano Galliani met to discuss Armero with the player’s agent Luciano Ramalho on Tuesday and Ramalho is only aware of Genoa’s interest in Armero and not of any potential exchange deal.

“I had lunch with Galliani and Preziosi at the Savoia Hotel, I spoke with them and we talked about the transfer market and opportunities,” Ramalho told MilanNews.it.

“But this is just the start of negotiations. A deal is possible, we are working on it.

“I do not know of the exchange, but Genoa are interested in Armero.”

Armero, 28, only joined the Rossoneri during the previous transfer window on loan from Udinese, while Antonelli, 27, has been with Genoa since 2011 and began his career with Milan before joining Parma in 2008.
