AC Milan are eyeing a move for evergreen Fenerbahce forward Dirk Kuyt as a possible replacement for the injured Stephen El Shaarawy.
The 34-year-old Dutch international has been a huge fan favorite at the Turkish giants since moving from Liverpool in 2012, but now looks set for a change of scenery.
LigTV report that AC Milan are in pole position for the workhorse forward, who they see as the ideal short-term replacement for El Shaarawy, who face two months out after suffering an injury against Lazio on the weekend.
AC Milan face heavy competition for Kuyt however, with the likes of Lyon, Valencia, West Ham and former club Feyenoord all interested in the veteran striker.
Kuyt has netted six goals in 17 league appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
