galliani silvio berlusconiAC Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi has denied that he made comments about the team’s ‘unacceptable’ displays following their 1-0 loss against Atalanta.

The Diavolo currently sit 10th in the table and have won just one of their past six games and in fact, with the season at its halfway stage, the troubled Italian giants have won only six league games all season.

Although Berlusconi has denied making comments, Gazzetta dello Sport report that he blasted the side following their latest loss to Atalanta: “These defeats are unacceptable. I am more discouraged that I am angry.

“I understand that these are no longer the days when we are winning in Barcelona but it is unacceptable to lose against players who learn five times less than us.”

He has since called both Adriano Galliani and Filippo Inzaghi to reassure them that these comments were not made by him but speculation mounts that Inzaghi has two games, against Lazio in the league and Coppa Italia, to save his job.
