AC Milan look set to sign Salvatore Bocchetti from Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow.
The Rossoneri have struggled this season at the back, conceding over a goal a game this season in Serie A, and have not won a league match in January for the first time in over 70 years.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the 28-year-old will join the Rossoneri on six-month loan deal with the option to make it permanent in the summer.
While his agent Andrea D’Amico said talks were completed in “an hour and a half,” and the player is due to arrive in Milan on Tuesday evening, with a medical set for Wednesday.
Bocchetti, who previously played in Serie A with Genoa before moving to Rubin Kazan in 2010 then Spartak in 2013, and has found himself on the fringes at Spartak, making just three league appearances last season.
