AC Milan vice-president flies to Rome for star striker

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has flown to Rome to negotiate for Roma striker Mattia Destro.

The 24 year-old is understood to be nearing the exit door in the capital with both Serie A clubs thought to have come to agreement.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Rossoneri are pushing for the Italian international with Adriano Galliani now in Rome to negotiate.

Milan are looking to provide coach Filippo Inzaghi with quality players with Stephan El Shaarawy now injured for up to six weeks.

Reports suggest Destro is being offered a three year-contract with Milan prepared to double his wages to €3 milion a year.

Destro would arrive on an initial loan deal with formalities yet to be decided with regard to the method of payment.

The former Inter youth player has scored 23 goals in 52 appearances for the Giallorossi in total.
