Parma striker Antonio Cassano has cancelled his contract with the Gialloblu.

The Italian international has reportedly departed due to monetary issues with the club, having warned the Crociati about unpaid wages on Friday.

The club announced on Monday that the striker has agreed to terminate his contract with the club, and is now a free agent.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Parma owe the player five months’ worth of wages, whilst also stating that the Ducali were happy to let go of the player as they are planning for Serie B football in the 2015/2016 season due to being bottom of the Serie A table.

The report also states that boyhood club Bari are interested in signing Cassano.
