Antonio Cassano could make a sensational return to Bari following the termination of his contract at Parma.
The 32-year-old forward started his career at the Galletti before going to Roma in a deal worth in he region of €30 million in 2001, when he was still a teenager.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serie B club have contacted ‘Fantantonio’ now that the former Azzurri international is a free agent and a deal to return to the South of the country is not out of the question.
Cassano has failed to rule out a return, but is taking time to evaluate all his options. There are other clubs interested, including an offer from Dubai but talks between Bari and Cassano continue.
The talented forward has had a chequered career including spells with Inter, Milan, Sampdoria and Real Madrid while amassing 39 appearances for Italy, scoring ten goals.
