Chelsea have reportedly come to an agreement with Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado and seem to be on the verge of landing him before the January transfer window comes to a close.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a number of outside clubs since the summer, with the Blues being seen as one of the favourites to land him, and it now looks like the Premier League side’s persistence as of late is about to pay off as the winger’s agent was spotted in London in recent days to apparently strike up a deal between the Viola and the English club.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea will purchase the Colombian international for a fee of around €33 million and will send Mohamed Salah to Fiorentina on loan for the remainder of the season, while also continuing to pay the Egyptian’s full wages.

Cuadrado has scored four goals and provided three assists in his 17 Serie A appearances for the Gigliati this term thus far.
