Rene Krhin BolognaSpanish outfit Cordoba have turned their attention to fringe Inter midfielder Rene Krhin, after a deal for Juventus utility man Luca Marrone broke down.

The 24-year-old Slovenian international looks set to leave the Nerazzurri this month in search for regular first-team football, and has also been linked with a move to Leeds United and Hamburg.

Sky Sport Italia report that after the Marrone deal collapsed due to failed medical, Cordoba have been looking frantically for a possible replacement.

They look to have settled on the Nerazzurri man, and are optimistic of completing a deal before the deadline passes as they look to strengthen their midfield.

Krhin has only made three substitute appearances in the league for Inter this season.
