After losing 1-0 to a visiting Juventus side and failing to progress to the next round of the Coppa Italia, Parma coach Roberto Donadoni feels his side put in a good match and is disappointed to lose on an offside goal.

The Bianconeri grabbed a late winner from Spanish striker Alvaro Morata who scored in the 88th minute after coming off the bench in the second half.

“We played a good game and I am happy for the boys,” said Donadoni to Rai Sport.

“I am disappointed because we lost in the 90th minute with an offside goal, similar to what already happened to us Sunday against Cesena.

“I feel it is two losses that we do not deserve. We have all made so many sacrifices and to be penalized by episodes like this is wrong. Despite this all, we will keep working to do better.”

The 51-year-old was then asked about the recent termination of Italian striker Antonio Cassano’s contract.

“The absence of Cassano is a closed chapter.”
