AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has been tricked into revealing details of the club’s transfer plans.

Genoa based radio station RDS called Galliani and one DJ mimicked the voice of Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero, causing Galliani to divulge the Rossoneri’s targets.

“Life, as in football, is made up of ups and downs. You have to be calm when you win, and calm when you lose, because life is like a spinning wheel,” Galliani said.

The 70-year-old was then quizzed on the future of Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi, as it is rumoured he will be sacked should the club fail to beat Lazio in the Coppa Italia.

“For us [Milan] it is hard because we don’t understand what has happened,” Galliani continued. “We went ahead against both Lazio and Sassuolo early, then you think the game is decided then… instead [it isn’t].

“Inzaghi won’t be sacked, unless there is a kind of biblical disaster. He will be with us till the end of the season.”

The topic of conversation then moved to the transfer market, with Milan being linked with a number of strikers during January.

“I am looking for a striker, but only on loan,” the vice-president stated. “We will end up with [Mattia] Destro or [Pablo] Osvaldo, with the option to buy.

“And for you [Stefano] Okaka is available on loan and availability to buy?”
