gennaro gattusoAC Milan legend Gennaro Gattuso says his former team-mate Clarence Seedorf is still bitter about his dismissal as Rossoneri boss at the end of last season.

The popular Dutchman was sacked as coach of Milan after just four months at the helm, and was replaced by his friend Filippo Inzaghi last June.

Gattuso was present at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich on Monday evening, and confirmed to reporters that Seedorf was still angry at the treatment of his former club.

“Seedorf? He’s still angry. At Milan they did not behave very well with him,” Gattuso told Premium Calcio. “They went to pick him up in Brazil, only to ditch him.”

“My Ballon d’Or? I won it when my colleague [Fabio] Cannavaro received it. He gave me a little bit, so I’m happy about that.

“Kaka and Ronaldinho? Ricky was amazing in 2007, he won us the Champions League and it was a miracle, while Dinho loved to sleep and did not talk much with his teammates.”

your right gattuso.now we can compare both seedorf & inzaghi who deserves 2 get sacked based on when they started off.inzaghi has a squad far better dan dorf’s & he also started in d summer with pre-season, but why did seedorf’s performance still outshinig his? Its either milan gets it right or wrong.

Clarence is a true leader in football in live in everything. Milan made a big mistake. He should have been given the time to set his own squad and to bring his philosophy. He has been treated truly unfairly by Milan and that hurts given what he accomplished and did with his hart and soul for the club. He is truly in inspiritional human being and will be on day one of the best manager’s if he just given the chance.
