gasperiniGenoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini decided not to appear before the media following Monday’s 2-1 defeat at Napoli.

The 57-year-old was incensed by Gianpaolo Calvarese’s refereeing performance as he feels the decisions that lead to both Napoli goals were wrong, triggered his non-appearance.

Gonzalo Higuain scored both goals as Napoli secured a vital three points, the Argentine looked to be in an offside position as Jose Callejon shot in the build-up to the opening goal.

Juraj Kucka was adjudged to have impeded the former Real Madrid man inside the box following Manolo Gabbiadini’s free kick, to compound matters, Higuain dusted himself down before confidently dispatching the spot kick to seal the Azzurri’s victory.
