Genoa are reportedly looking to land controversial Inter striker Pablo Osvaldo before the end of the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old, who is currently on loan at the Nerazzurri from Southampton, has been linked with a move away from the San Siro outfit in recent weeks due to a lack of playing time and his recent on-field spat with team-mate Mauro Icardi, which has caused the Grifone to express their interest in his services.

According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, Genoa are on the lookout for a replacement for Mauricio Pinilla, who recently completed a move to Atalanta, and may view the Italian international as their top choice to sign in the coming weeks, though the former Roma man is thought to be waiting for more offers before he chooses his next destination.

Reports from Mediaset Premium also suggest that struggling Serie A teams Torino and Cagliari may be ready to fight for the striker’s signature as well, as both sides are still in need of an attacking solution.

Osvaldo has scored five goals and provided three assists in his 12 league appearances for Inter this season thus far.
