Higuain - Napoli v GenoaNapoli hero Gonzalo Higuain has set his sights on Roma in second place following his side’s 2-1 victory over Genoa at the Stadio San Paolo on Monday evening.

The 27-year-old Argentine scored both goals, including a controversial penalty to seal the three points as the Azzurri reclaimed third place in the Serie A table.

“I’m happy with the victory, it was an important game in the race for third place, and possibly second,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“We have to continue like this, the team is growing. Today we had a lot of chances, but it’s nice to win when things don’t go your way.

“We have to have more confidence in ourselves, the team is working well, we will try to reach second place. Now we head to the next game.”
