Josip Ilicic - fiorentinaTorino are set to make another bid for Fiorentina attacking midfielder Josip Ilicic after he turned down a move to Bologna.

The Viola had accepted an offer of a loan move until the end of the season for a fee of €1 million from the Rossoblu with a redemption clause set at €5m.

Tuttosport reports that the 26-year-old has rejected the offer from Bologna, as he was unwilling to drop down to Serie B.

TuttoMercatoWeb has now revealed that the player’s agent Amir Ruznic is currently in Italy and Toro will up their interest by making Fiorentina a new proposal.

The Granata’s initial bid was €2m less than Bologna’s, but they are now expected to increase their offer.

Ilicic has scored one goal in eleven Serie A appearances so far this season.
