The agent of Gokhan Inler insists that his client wishes to remain at Napoli, following rumors that he may leave the club this month.
The 30-year-old Swiss international has been in and out of the Napoli starting line-up this season, leading to suggestions that he may seek a move away.
Dino Lamberti, Inler’s agent, however refuted claims that his client is set to leave the club despite confirming that offers have come in for the Swiss national team captain.
“Napoli has never considered the offers that have come from Germany and Turkey for my client,” Lamberti told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“By the way, a few of those clubs were ready to offer a lot of money. Add to that an offer that came from England as well.
“But I repeat: Inler will not go away, he feels more Neapolitan than the Neapolitans themselves.
“Napoli has also stressed repeatedly that they will not sell the player because for them, he is important and is part of the project.
“Gokhan wants to stay in the blue, and show all his value and Napoli does not want to sell him either.”
