Inter to lure Manchester City midfielder

Inter coach Roberto Mancini is plotting a move to acquire midfielder James Milner from his former club Manchester City.

Milner’s current contract at the Etihad expires at the of this season and the player is believed to be in talks with other clubs.

Negotiations for a contract renewal with City, which is going on since past four months, have not yet concluded and club coach Manuel Pellegrini is now openly chasing additions to his midfield.

British newspaper The Daily Star reports that Mancini is eager to be reunited with the England international and is willing to offer a staggering wage €260,000 a week in a bid to lure the player to Italy.

Mancini during his stint at Manchester City had brought Milner from Aston Villa in a €37.5 million deal in 2010.

Roma, Arsenal and Liverpool are also rumored to interested in Milner however it is understood the trio will not be able to match Inter’s offer.

Milner has scored eight goals in 117 appearances during his five year stint at Manchester City.
