Filippo Inzaghi was defiant in the post match regarding his tenuous position at the club, after AC Milan were beaten 3–1 at the Stadio Olimpico by Lazio.

AC Milan took an early lead through Jeremy Menez, but were overturned in the second half by a high-flying Lazio side that thoroughly dominated the Rossoneri.

“Yes I still feel like I have control over my team, otherwise I would have resigned,” Inzaghi said to Sky Sport Italia after the game.

“The team follows me but right now it is not enough. We had a bad game but the team gave everything and never let up.

“In these moments, we must walk forward and look ahead to our next game [against Lazio in the Coppa Italia].

“I continue my work at the helm of the team. I knew the difficulties after so many coaching changes; but we have to stand up with pride and start over.”

Inzaghi has been under a lot of pressure as of late, with many rumours that the AC Milan coach is close to the exit door. AC Milan are currently 10th and winless in their last five Serie A games.

How Meny time have we to start over with you, you should accept that you are not the man for the job, and to day i saw that you can’t controle your own players…
Just leave inzaghi you was a god player but you don’t have it what it takes to be ac milan coach…

I don`t think it`s a coach who we need to blame here. Look at Allegri, he is good enough for Juventus now. Inzaghi did well with youngster and has what it takes to be a good coach, he just need more experience. I would question the presidents decisions, e.g. appointing of 2 CEO`s, Barbara Berlusconi, really?
