Italy are set to play England in a friendly at the Juventus Stadium in Torino on March 31, three days after the Azzurri’s Euro 2016 qualifying match against Bulgaria.
The two sides last met in the 2014 World Cup with Italy emerging 2-1 victors, thanks to goals from Claudio Marchisio and Mario Balotelli, on that occasion.
England last visited Italy in November 2000, but were beaten 1-0 at the Stadio delle Alpi, also in Torino, with Gennaro Gattuso grabbing the winner.
It was in 1997 that England last emerged victorious on Italian soil, as Ian Wright and Paul Scholes were the scorers in a 2-0 victory.
